From actress to celebrant...
A few years ago, I left city life behind and moved to rural West Wales, settling in a small community in a magical valley. Leaving behind my career in theatre, I began to channel my creativity into ceremony, ritual, and storytelling.
It was the connection to the land that inspired me most. I held storytelling ceremonies during festivals on the Celtic Wheel of the Year, exploring how myth, nature, and seasonal rhythm can bring people together in meaningful ways.
From there, my work naturally evolved. I found myself supporting people in moments of transition—facilitating handfasting rituals, rites of passage, and holding conscious relating workshops.
A new path opened up: the work of a celebrant.
A natural meeting point of all my previous work—performance, storytelling, human relationship, and, for those who feel drawn to it, a thread of spirituality and connection to place. All woven together in moments of presence and intention.
I trained with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants and, more than ever before, felt like I had found the work I was meant to do.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with couples to shape ceremonies that feel deeply personal and alive. I work with humour as well as deep intention, creating ceremonies that move beyond the “show” and become relational rituals—moments of celebration, but also of real meaning and impact.
At its heart, my work is about attention.
Attention to story.
Attention to relationship.
Attention to the threshold moments that change us.
